          Obsession - Rick Santini is an 18 year old Year 11 student at a local High School in Melbourne, Australia. Struggling with the demands of his over controlling father, and trying to keep a low profile at school, Rick hides a secret, that will tear his family apart. Rick has a High School crush, but there's just one problem, his crush is on his French PE teacher. His PE teacher happens to be married to Rick's English teacher who is also the school principal. Unaware of Rick's obsession, his mother and father pressure Rick to succeed and do well in school during his VCE and urge him to improve his grades. At school, Rick's classmates start to get suspicious about his behaviour around their teacher. After living in London, England for a year with his parents, Rick has a blast from the past that comes back to haunt him and he becomes so obsessed with his teacher that his urges begin to take control. Rick starts to distance himself from his friends and family and he starts lying to them to cover his obsession. In a surprising twist, Rick's life is changed forever.    Jared leant forward and kissed me for the first time. At first I was surprised and I pulled away. Even though I realised how dangerous it was for the two of us to pursue anything, I found myself leaning forward and kissing him right back; the whole time imagining that I was kissing Jacques. Jared was a man with experience, who clearly knew what he was doing in every way. After he unzipped his pants and removed his underwear, he sat on top of me and began to slowly remove my clothes. He kissed me over and over again and started making his way down my body. As I ran my hand down his chest, with Jared on top of me, I pictured Jacques naked. That night I lost my virginity to Jared.

Life couldn’t get any more complicated for Rick. He's in the middle of High School, going through adolescence and coming to terms with his sexuality, which he hides from his parents.

Meet Mr Devereaux, Rick's PE and French teacher who Rick can't stop thinking about. To complicate matters even more, Mr Devereaux is married to the principal of the same school.

As Rick comes to terms with being a young homosexual man, he fantasizes about what it would be like to be with an older man. After sneaking into his teacher's office and almost getting caught out, Rick realizes that his fantasies and urges are beginning to take over his life.

One night, at dinner, Rick's father comes home and reveals some news that sends shock waves through Rick. His father has just received a promotion at work and has been offered to relocate to London, England for one year, with all expenses paid.

Moving to London would mean that Rick would be away from his friends and Mr Devereaux and ultimately, he tries to convince his father to allow him to stay in Australia and live with relatives while he and his mother move to London. His father refuses, leaving Rick no choice but to pack up his life and go with them.

When they arrive in London things are far from easy for Rick. After finally settling into a new English school, Rick makes some new friends including Nate, who is an openly gay teenager.

Together Nate and his friends convince Rick to sneak into a bar under age. There he meets Jared, the owner of the bar, who is drop dead gorgeous, gay and he happens to be an older man.

Rick starts spending a lot of time at the bar on weekends with his new friends, and soon, sparks fly between Jared and Rick. With Mr Devereaux on the other side of the world, Rick has finally found another older man who happens to be gay, but is he the older man that he wants?

Rick's temporary life in London is cut short when he suddenly becomes seriously ill and must return to Australia to make a full recovery before he can return back to school.

However, it takes Rick longer than anticipated to recover from his illness and unfortunately, having missed out on too much school, he must repeat Year 10 when he fully recovers, making him the oldest student in his class. Will Rick finally have a chance with Mr Devereaux?

I closed the door and sat there staring at him. I think he noticed that I was nervous because he leaned forward and placed his hand on my shoulder. I got that feeling in my stomach again only this time I didn’t feel like I was going to chuck. I felt the butterflies swimming around and I was filled with giddiness and excitement. His touch sent a thrill through my body which unfortunately didn’t help my arousal, I could see him looking down at my groin. We looked at each other and he must have been able to see my anxious eyes. Neither of us said a word as we stood there looking at each other. Slowly and cautiously, he leaned into me again. I continued to stand there in silence, stiff as a board as his lips moved onto my own. The second we touched, it felt like electricity bolting through my body and every emotion that I had suppressed in the past couple of months jumped to the surface. I kissed him back with all the passion that I had in me.

            I am an indie author from Melbourne, Australia. I never had a desire to be a writer, but after going through a major body transformation in late 2012 I decided to write an Autobiography about my struggles with bullying, self-esteem, and body image. After sharing my experiences with the world I set out on a journey and became a qualified Personal Trainer. After losing 35kgs I had a passion and thrive to help others achieve, it was then that I decided to write a book.   After writing my Autobiography One Step Further I had an idea for a story which was inspired by events in my life, and set out on a difficult and daunting task to write my first novel Obsession which is part of the Obsession Series. I am currently in the process of writing the next 2 books in the trilogy Temptation (a prequel toObsession) and the final installment Resignation.   In the very little spare time that I do have, when I am not writing, I work a regular Full Time job in retail. I'm also a Personal Trainer and motivational speaker, helping others reach their weight loss goals and defeat their personal and difficult struggles. I enjoy spending time with my partner Kat, I come from a European background and I am the oldest of three brothers.
