Emma has developed a new weapon against the war on terror. Unfortunately someone doesn't want that weapon used, at least not by the US. Michael is a former Green Beret who now does secret jobs along with other of his army buddies. His friend Rob set him up with a new job for $200k, make sure that Emma doesn't get a new weapon to GIA a terrorist organization.
The problem that both Emma and Michael have is they are both being lied to. Emma is not selling the weapon, but she is about to be kidnapped and not by Michael. A CIA agent has gotten it into his head that if he kills Emma then the Hummingbird will not come to pass. But the GIA does want Hummingbird and they are taking insurance out to get it, Rob's fiance.
When Michael goes to get Emma he has every intention of making sure she is unable to sell any information, but something just doesn't feel right. How can the one woman who makes him feel whole also be one to betray her country? Emma finds that Michael plays havoc on her senses, but she has a hard time believing that someone is after her. Until she is taken away from him.
Now can Michael get her back and save Rob's fiance? And will the heat conjured between Michael and Emma have time to erupt into a relationship they can both trust in? It is an action packed ride but totally worth the read!
