Jay is a Gulf War veteran who struggles with PTSD. He doesn't get close to women, he doesn't need to. Jay is a hot tattooed man and women come to him willingly when he wants to fulfill a need. He never stays the night and he doesn't get close to anyone.

Lou and Jay meet and they are drawn to each other. They start dating and getting close but both have to deal with their demons. Can the love blooming between them conquer their pasts?

I enjoyed this book. I loved Jay, I wanted to wrap my arms around him and tell him what a good man he is. I felt for Lou and her struggles to push past her past. Together these two light up the pages. 4 Stars!

MJ Nightingale has spent over two decades teaching students how to write, and now she is doing it herself. Originally from Canada, she graduated from University with her Bachelor of Arts and then went on to get her Bachelor of Education Degree in Secondary Education.

Reading has been a part of her life since she was a child. She has been an avid lover of classical English and American literature, but romance has always held a special place in her heart. She devours historical romance novels all summer long, and any type of fiction; thrillers, crime, suspense, and drama.
