“Bros stick together no matter what.”
When Chris and Liam made that promise, they had no idea how important it would become or how it would be tested in the most brutal way. Nine years later, their bond cemented in blood, that relationship is all they have to hold on to.
“No matter what happens, this friendship will be the one constant we can count on.”
When Billy and Owen made that promise, they knew exactly how dangerous the world could be. They survived prison by protecting each other and they survived freedom by holding that promise sacred. Now they want more than just to survive and they want it from the brothers whose bond is as strong as their own.
“We are stronger together than we’ll ever be apart.”
When Owen reaches his breaking point, Chris jumps at the chance to make things right for all of them. With the future in their grasp, will they realize their strength is in their numbers and finally become the family they crave?
Author’s Note: This is NOT a foursome, but the story of two couples that needed to be told together.
Pages or Words: 76,000 words
Excerpt:
That silence hid a lot from their friends, but Liam knew Chris was plagued with memories far worse than his. That’s why they decided not to celebrate alone this year. Billy and Owen were expected any minute and it was the first time they invited anyone to join them. The anniversary was bittersweet for them and they chose to celebrate it because becoming brothers meant that much to them. “Do you think they’ll find it stupid?”
Chris just shrugged as if it was no skin off his back what they thought and Liam knew that was just bravado. Fact was, they both very much cared what the two men thought. “Liar.”
His brother sighed and dropped his head back. As if shit wasn’t fucked up enough, they fell for two bastards just as fucked up as they were. “I know you’re worried about Owen. The business with Colin is growing out of their control and I’m not sure why he thinks it’s a good thing. Is he trying to prove something? And the middle of the night phone calls from the FTR? He’s looking more and more fragile every day.”
Liam knew he wasn’t stating anything new. What he didn’t know was what Chris intended to do about it. Lately, when it came to Owen, Chris conveyed zero intent and seemed to be waiting for Owen to read him as effortlessly as Liam did. Their brother bond had been forged through blood and he was afraid Chris’s expectations of Owen were unreasonable. “Do you see his face every time he thinks he’s failed to understand you? The weight of it is crushing.”
Instead of regret, all Liam saw was anger in Chris. It wasn’t a common emotion for Chris and Liam could name every time he saw it. The fact that Chris knew what he was capable of if provoked had made him extremely conscious of that emotion and he often went to great lengths to contain it.
Owen was the very definition of insecure. Just the type to inspire Chris’s protective instincts, which Liam knew for a fact Owen did. Hell, he inspired Liam’s protective instincts. Owen was stubborn though and he often distanced himself, keeping things bottled up until they manifested elsewhere. Like in panic attacks that felt like heart attacks, which he also tried to hide. Liam nearly lost it when they found out that Billy was keeping Owen’s secret.
Chris nodded slowly, as if he completely followed Liam’s train of thought and waited for him to connect the dots. And just like that, Liam understood. “You’re pissed because he doesn’t come to you when the panic sets in. That he hides it from you and they hide it from us.”
It made total sense, but he had to wonder if they were expecting too much. After all, they couldn’t call what was going on with either man a relationship. No, they were four fucked up bastards trying to come together in some romantic—what? Not a foursome, eww…he loved Chris, but yeah, that just wasn’t happening. And Owen wasn’t his type any more than Billy was Chris’s type. But—always with the fucking buts, right?—what was happening was very definitely happening to the four of them, and Liam now had to wonder if that was the problem, because trying to come together was definitely not the same as being together.
Chris shook his head and shifted in his seat. No, he was right. It wasn’t just their brother bond that made it impossible to move forward as two separate couples. Billy and Owen had formed their own unique friendship in prison and were no more likely to move forward without the other one either. “Just once, couldn’t we have done something the easy way?”
The fire door banged open and Liam turned to see Billy and Owen, arms full of brightly wrapped packages, struggling to pull a huge cluster of balloons through the door. It was a shocking contrast to their dark thoughts and so uncharacteristically sweet of both men. Billy caught their surprised stare and yelled, “Is this where the party’s at?”
“It is now.” It might seem silly, but it was exactly what they needed and exactly who they needed it from. Maybe they hadn’t been expecting too much at all. Liam rose to give them a hand and glanced down to see the look of longing in Chris’s eyes and thought maybe it was time they all expected more.

Meet the author:
Like many readers, the dream of being a writer has been with me a long time. After three decades of trying, I'd begun to doubt. Thanks to social media, I followed my favorite authors hoping to glean some words of wisdom as I pounded out half-formed ideas with alarming regularity. Two repetitive themes emerged: to be a great writer you
must read a lot and your butt must be in the chair every day like it's a job. The more you write, the easier it will be to write and the better you will be at writing. I took that advice to heart and write every day. With six published books to date, three series in the works and a full schedule of releases planned for the next two years, it's been amazing to have made this dream my reality.
I am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics and happily ever after. I'm a lover of strong secondary characters and series filled with families, biological or chosen. All are themes you'll find throughout my books.

Fighting His Fire by Ann Lister Review
NEW RELEASE!!!
Fighting His Fire
The Rock Gods #6
Ann Lister
Locked-down at a Los Angeles intervention facility, everyone around Dante Dupont and his Black Ice band mate, Ashton Lane, thought this would fix the issues between them. Dante and Ashton knew differently. What made this a hundred times worse was the fact they were stuck in this room together. They hadn't shared space like this since the one afternoon they both wanted to forget. And, revisiting that nightmare was not an option . . . with or without the help of a therapist.
Two musicians. Same band. Afraid to admit their true feelings, being in close quarters again has them both at their breaking point. They say if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, but neither of them can find a reason to leave, and fighting the fire is becoming more and more difficult to do.
Dante's baggage isn't pretty and his scars run deep, but Ashton might be the one to finally see beyond his past and help him find a way out from the smoke screen he's spent his life hiding behind. In order to get there, though, they'll both have to walk through the flames.
Review:
So last we met the Rock God's series Dante and Asher were locked in a room for fighting and causing Black Ice to miss a show. Now we get to hear their story and let me tell you they are HOT together! Explosive is how the story starts with the two coming to blows, but soon we find out why they've been at each other's throats, they got together a few months ago but right before they could do the deed Dante found out Asher had never had sex with a man before and he stopped what they were doing. He hurt Asher and then Asher ignored him. Things esculated to the point where they couldn't talk anymore and instead of giving into the desire between them they fought.
Now when the therapist actually makes them talk about themselves they each find out things about the other. And eventually they talk about what happened that night and find they were both in the wrong. When they are released each of them want to try to be together but they are both still wary of giving their heart away. What they realize is that they've starting loving each other even when they were trying to ignore each other.
As always when it comes to the Rock God series I love this book. I had to read it as soon as it came out!! Dante and Asher are great together and I just want to wrap my arms around Dante and hold him! As always we get a group event at the end where we see many of the characters we love and get a glimpse into the next story to be told. And of course I can't wait for the next one to come out!
Check out this snip-it:
Dante's big hand touched Ashton's firm thigh and squeezed. A grin lifted one side of his lips. "Oh, I don't know about the kid comment. The parts of you I've seen look all man to me." Dante leaned in and brushed his lips to Ashton's. "Every...last...inch."
This story is also so full of emotion. You'll tear up at the most unexpected times just because these alpha men are just so open and honest with each other. Here, for example....
"You're worth it, Dante, and, I'm not just saying that. You always were. You just needed to believe in yourself."
Here's the series, in order..... You can read them as standalones.... but why do that? Trust me, you will get SO much more out of the stories knowing who everyone is and how they are all connected. It's a beautiful story.....one I can't wait to see on the big screen!!

Fret by Sandrine Gasq Dion Review & Giveaway
Title: Fret
Author: Sandrine Gasq Dion
Cover Artist: Kellie
Dennis
Length: 48,000 words
Release Date: September
01, 2015
Blurb: Former Navy SEAL Axel Blaze
lives a solitary life. He doesn't do emotions, and he doesn't do babysitting.
Used to being on his own, his job consists of Wetwork (a charming term coined
by the KGB) for his former Master Chief, Mac. When an out-of-the-ordinary job
lands on his doorstep, Axel heads down a path that includes a famous heavy
metal rock band and one quiet, vulnerable, guitar-shredding virtuoso named
Gareth Wolf.
Gareth Wolf's life changed in
an instant when a car he was a passenger in crashed, hurting his brother's best
friend and the band's lead guitarist. They created the band, Skull Blasters, as
kids. Gareth had always been happy in the background, playing roadie. With the
lead guitarist's injury, Gareth is suddenly thrust into the limelight and into
a frenzied life he never imagined for himself. Finally fed up with living a
lie, Gareth comes out as gay in a newspaper interview and finds himself in the
bulls-eye of a crazed stalker. Somebody wants Gareth hurt - or worse - and Mac
has been hired to be sure that doesn't happen. Babysitting duty is NOT Axel's
strong suit, but Mac won't be budged.
Enter Axel Blaze. Against his
better judgment, the big man takes the job to protect the shy musician. The
more time he spends with Gareth Wolf, the more he admires the man. Where's a
simple assassination when you need one? The situation becomes more volatile for
each man as the attempts on Gareth escalate just as Axel finds himself falling
for the quiet lead guitarist.
Strong, funny, smart-ass --
and kinda sweet Axel is everything Gareth has ever wanted in a man. Too bad
he's off limits. As the stalker grows bolder, Gareth and Axel move closer
emotionally - but is it too late? All Axel knows is that they don't stand a
chance if he can't find the maniac trying to kill the man he's come to care
about. A lot.
Everyone knows that
relationships that begin in pressured or volatile situations eventually fizzle
out.
Or do they?
Thumping music was shaking
the walls of the Dome as I headed for my designated spot. I guess I’m meeting
Paul, the band’s manager.
I took mental notes as I
passed through the crowd of screaming, jumping people. The band was rocking it
out and I sought out Gareth Wolf. There were two guitarists, but I found him
right away. Black hair touched his shoulders and his lean body moved with his
guitar.
He was in his element.
The song was wrapping up and
the floor was shaking from the bass drum. The floor-to-ceiling speakers pumped
out the last notes of the song. The crowd immediately went wild as Ransom Fox
leaned over the stage.
“Let’s hear it for the best
lead guitarist on the planet!” he shouted.
Gareth shook his hair back
and bowed with one hand out. Again, the crowd screamed, shouted and whistled.
Ransom went on to give some love to the other members of the group.
I rolled my eyes and pushed
my way through the crowd toward the side of the stage. A large man eyed me and
then nodded as I walked by. Again, I could have been wearing a ‘Hello, I’m God’
tag and security wouldn’t have batted an eyelash. As it was, my tag faced
backwards; he couldn’t even see my name or credentials.
Security for the Skull
Blaster band was sorely lacking.
I sat through another hour of
bone-jarring hardcore metal before the band finally left the stage. I scanned
the area for their manager, but no luck.
I walked right behind the
curtain and fell into step with the band members as they trudged toward their
dressing rooms. They didn’t even notice me — and I’m really hard to miss.
They stepped into the
dressing room; I followed and slammed the door shut behind me. Ransom turned
and his eyes widened.
“Who the fuck are you?!”
“Nice of you to finally
notice me,” I pointed out.
“Paul!” Ransom thundered. He
immediately moved in front of Gareth, shielding him.
“Oh for fucks sake.” I arched
a brow.
The door behind me opened and
a startled man looked me over from head to toe. He flipped my name badge over
and sighed audibly, clearly relieved.
“It’s cool, Ransom. This is
the guy I was telling you about.”
“You could have mentioned he
was a semi-truck.” Ransom’s eyes narrowed.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t meet
you,” Paul apologized to me. “I ran into some media and couldn’t get away.”
“Not that this isn’t fun
— because, oh so much fun — but I’m here
to do a job. So I need to speak to whoever is in charge of ‘security.’ Now.” I
leaned very slightly — but effectively — in to Paul’s face.
“Why?”
I turned to see Gareth
peeking out from behind his brother’s broad shoulders. His eyes were a shade of
green I’d never seen before, and with his pale complexion and dark hair? The
guy was a looker and then some.
“Because band security
royally sucks. I walked right on back here with them and not one person noticed
or stopped me. That is not acceptable.”
“Who are you?” Gareth gaped.
I pinned him with a hard
look. “I’m your bodyguard.”
Ransom chuckled.
“What the actual fuck?”
Gareth stepped in front of his brother. “Is this a joke?”
“Nope.” Ransom shook his
head.
“Jinx, Harley, Rebel. Give us
a few, eh?” Paul opened the door and tilted his head toward the hallway.
“Sure thing, boss.” Rebel
tipped his hat and winked at me.
I leaned against the wall as
the members walked out. I overheard one of them, not sure which, talking to
another.
“Did you see the size of that
guy?”
“How could you miss him?”
another one answered.
Paul shut the door and turned
to Gareth with an apologetic smile.
“I knew what you’d say if we
told you beforehand,” he admitted.
“Oh, did you now? You had to
get me Conan the Destroyer? Jesus Christ!”
“Gareth,” Ransom warned.
“What? This is stupid! I
don’t need a human shield!”
“You’re going to play nice
and allow this man to watch your back, Gareth!” Ransom shouted. “You’re getting
threats since you came out! I insist you be kept safe!”
“Gareth, why don’t you go
clean up? Then you and Mr. Blaze can get acquainted.”
“Seriously? Blaze?” Gareth
snorted.
I narrowed my eyes at the kid. Well, to me he was a kid, after everything I’d seen in my life. Gareth was almost twenty-three and I was pushing thirty. We locked eyes for a few seconds before he turned away.
Review:
So this ARC came to me very late and I am sorry for my late post. You see when I received it I was in the middle of the newest Ann Lister book, and I could not tear myself away from Asher and Dante. Imagine my surprise when the guys from Black Ice and Ivory Tower make cameo appearances in this book!!
Gareth never thought that he had what it took to be a lead guitarist but when the lead guitarist from his brother's band loses his ability to play from a car accident Gareth is thrust into the spotlight. While dealing with his feelings of inadequacy on the stage he is also keeping his sexuality hidden. But now he's decided he can't do that anymore. With the support of the rest of the band and a few rock god friends, he is announcing that he is gay.
Six months later Gareth is getting death threats. Enough that his manager and his brother have hired him a babysitter, but man oh man he's never seen a babysitter like this one. Tall, dark and lickable Axel Blaze, yes it's his real name, not only looks like a badass, he has the resume to back it up. Axel is also gay, and he's an ex-Seal, but Axel doesn't do relationships, he likes his privacy and he doesn't trust anyone. But as the two are thrust together to keep Gareth safe, Axel finds himself falling for the young man who brings light into where ever he goes.
The problem is even if Axel lets Gareth in, will he be able to keep Gareth safe at the same time?
I totally enjoyed this book. I love rock gods no matter if they are gay, straight or bi. And not only that but I love military men too, I write about one myself. So these two combine to take me on a fantasy through my hearts desires. If you are like me and love music and alpha males you definitely should get this book. You will not regret it!

Fallen Crest is back with a vengeance!
Samantha, Mason, and Logan are all together and united with one common enemy: Park Sebastian, the king of fraternity douchebags.
With professional football scouts eyeing his every move, Mason Kade has to walk the line for the first time in his life. Any move he makes against Sebastian has to be perfect and under the radar. One mistake, and his career is over.
Sebastian has other plans. Mason’s career isn’t his target—not even close. Wanting to destroy Mason completely, Sebastian knows he must hit him where it hurts the most: Samantha, who doesn’t give a rat’s ass that she’s the target.
Sam is bound and determined to protect Mason herself, no matter the cost, but what if the cost is beyond her imagination? What if this time, the villain wins?
Excerpt
I drew one of his fingers into my mouth. My tongue wrapped around it. I wanted to forget about my afternoon and how I was going to handle that situation. I wanted to get lost in his arms.
Seeing what I wanted, Mason tipped us both back, cradling me on his chest as he lay down. I was securely in his arms, and he rolled me over, so he was looming above me. His eyes darkened, holding my gaze before dropping to my lips where a small smile showed, and I let go of his finger. The ache for him already started inside me.
A knowing grin formed on his face, and without saying a word, he slipped from the bed to lock the door and flip the lights off. My heart started pounding. The need for him was rising between my legs, and I licked my lips, watching as he took his shirt off. He was all muscle. I could make out every single one of them as he came back to me. The flames were growing hotter and hotter. I wanted to slide my hands over every inch of him. I wanted to feel his weight on top of me. I wanted to feel him inside me.
I wanted him to break the fucking bed for me.
Excerpt
In ten.
“I’m not sure if you’re aware of this threesome dynamic,” Logan started.
Sebastian’s eyes narrowed. Logan was too cocky, too sure of himself. Sebastian’s head lifted to the side as he kept skirting among all three of us.
Nine.
I was next to my brother. They came from the basement section of the bookstore, so Sebastian was blocking his friends from us. His three friends were down a few steps, too far but close enough where they could catch Sebastian.
Eight.
Logan continued, “But the three of us…” He gestured to all of us. “Well, technically, it’s the Fearsome Foursome with Sam, but she’s not here.” His tone lowered, growing more serious. “And she’s not a part of this, so I guess, right now, you can call us the Threesome Fearsome.”
Seven.
Sebastian was almost ignoring my brother. He was solely focused on me. Fine. I let him see the threat in me and murmured, “My brother’s not kidding, you know.”
Logan quieted, edging back so that I was now in the front.
“About what?” His tone was clipped.
Sebastian knew. He was remembering Logan’s threat.
I reminded him. “Your sister. Your girlfriend.”
Six.
“I don’t have either one of those,” Sebastian shot back.
Logan piped in, “But there’s someone.”
I added, “There’s always someone.”
Sebastian grew silent, looking between the two of us.
Five.
Nate spoke up, “They’re talking about who’s vulnerable to you, Sebastian.”
“You shut up,” Sebastian snapped at him. “You left the house. You don’t deserve the right to talk to us.”
His three friends got riled up at that. They moved forward, and I started eyeing the big one closest to Sebastian. He was a big motherfucker.
Four.
“Nate never should’ve been with you,” I said, commanding all of their attention. We were close. The camera would rotate back. I wanted their focus on me, not Logan. “That was a mistake he rectified.”
Three.
Sebastian’s eyes narrowed to slits. “I’m going to make both of you sorry that you came back here.”
“What about me?” Logan smirked at him.
No. I wanted Sebastian watching me.
He turned. “I already tried to get your acceptance revoked.”
Well, holy shit, I hadn’t expected that response.
Two.
Logan opened his mouth. His eyes flashed in anger, and he was going to say something to piss Sebastian off. I blocked him. I needed Sebastian and friends’ eyes on me.
“Time’s up,” I said calmly, quietly.
It worked. They all turned to me, and Sebastian’s eyes widened. He started to rear back—
One.
I rushed forward.

Author Information
I didn't begin writing until after undergraduate college. There'd been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can't blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I'm hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.
