So do you remember Rhye from Ruining Me and Ruining You?? He was the musician that Jay was hanging out with when she was hiding. He told her he loved her but she loved JT and Kane. Last we saw of Rhye he was in LA on his way to making it big.
Well Rhye did make it big, but he also has a major drug and alcohol problem. His friend Chris committed suicide a few months ago and Rhye just got out of rehab. Now his record company is telling him he has one more chance. He has to go to Nashville and write his new album, taking weekly drug tests to prove he is clean. Rhye doesn't know if it's worth it anymore.
Syn is the hot new girl in country music. She just broke up with her boyfriend, another up and coming country star that just couldn't be faithful while on tour. She is in Nashville to finish her new album.
Syn and Rhye meet at the studio and both are drawn to each other. Syn sees Rhye for the broken man he is but Rhye is not interested in Syn. He's not looking for a relationship girl, he did that before and had his heart broken.
The heat between these two is instantaneous! I thought Rhye was a good guy before but we learn so much more about him in this book and he really is a great guy! Syn is adorable and sweet and she leads with her heart. She does try to resist Rhye but there is just too much attraction.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! We even get to visit with Jay and Kane! If you enjoyed the first two books you will love this one!
