Just Human by Kerry Heavens - Review

Synopsis
Meet Liv and Danny...

Liv loves Danny. She knows she loves him more than he loves her, so she lets him go without a fight when his parents make him move back to America. She knows she will never love anyone like she loved him, but she has to move on.

Danny loves Liv. He knows he loves her more than she loves him, because she does nothing to get him to stay, so he goes quietly when his parents leave the UK. He knows he will never love anyone like he loved her, but he has to move on.

Twelve years on, they have made a good job of pretending, they may have almost forgotten. But when they get in touch via Facebook, it seems that it is all still there.

They quickly find that they are intensely compatible in ways they hadn’t even begun to explore before they were forced apart.

Can they put aside their fears and give it a go? Or will deep rooted doubts and insecurities tear them apart?

My Review:

Liv and Danny were inseparable as children. Their relationship grew into something more but then Danny moved away.  14 years down the road, Liv just found her boyfriend of almost four years about to get into her bed with one of her friends.  The funny thing is that Liv's not that upset about it.

A few days later and she gets a message on Facebook from Danny. Holy Hell!  Where did he come from and what should she do? He is the one who left but he's always been "The One".  They talk and back and forth and Liv starts wondering where they are going and why she is so scared. But then he just stops talking to her. For four days nothing!!  So she has to try and put all those feelings back where they belong... out of her heart. But Danny hasn't just stopped talking to her...he's been putting his life in order so he can fly 5,000 miles to see her again!

I love getting both Liv and Danny's POV but I the first switch and going over what Danny was feeling was a little weird.  I wanted to know what was next and there I was back at the beginning again.  It took a lot not to flip to the next Liv chapter.  That said once the initial switch was made and the story got back on track having both POV's was great!  The chemistry and feelings of both the main characters stands out!  I love both of their friends!

The ending was a direct set up into the next book and It felt rushed.  All in all though this was a good book!  I give it 3.5 Stars!
