Good Release Day Blitz and Review

Synopsis
Cadence Miller is a good girl. She just happens to make one terrible mistake her junior year in high school which costs her ten months in juvenile detention. Now a senior, she’s lost everything: her best friend, the trust of her parents, driving privileges, Internet access. It’s a lonely existence.
But there is one bright spot: Mark Connelly, her very cute, very off-limits 28-year-old calculus teacher. She falls hard for him—a ridiculous schoolgirl crush headed nowhere. She can’t help it. He’s the only good thing at Crestview High. She doesn’t expect him to reciprocate her feelings. How inappropriate, right? But he does. And he shows her.
And that’s when her life goes from bad to good.

My Review:

4 Stars

Cadence made a mistake. ONE mistake and payed more than that mistake was worth. In fact she is still paying for it. After getting out of juvie her parents are still making her pay. They don't trust her, don't let her go anywhere and her life is hell.

Then she goes back to school and finds that the cute guy she met on the side of the road is her math teacher. She is instantly attracted to him. And the fact that he is hot does not help her with her struggling with the subject. Tutoring draws them closer and then she finds that he's just as drawn to her as she is to him.

I enjoyed this book.  I was a little put off when I read the synopsis. I have two daughters and the thought of them getting involved with a teacher makes me sick.  But as I signed up to do this tour and I hit the review button I read the book.  I was really surprised at the way Ms Walden deals with this subject. Both parties are torn but just cannot resist the pull.  It helps that Cadence is having such a hard time at home that you are routing for her to get a little love in her life.

I will definitely be reading the next in the series!

Good is the first book in the Too Good series.
